After facing difficult living circumstances, health challenges, and single parenthood, Samantha found the courage to begin again. She earned academic honors and discovered her path. Soon graduating with her bachelor’s degree, she’s accelerating toward her master’s—and a career in helping children.

Matthew’s journey began with homelessness and online high school using library Wi-Fi. With strength, dedication, and the support of his community, he broke down barriers, found his calling in social work, and made his way to college.

Noah has always made the most of his time. Dual enrollment, advanced coursework, and community college gave him a strong head start at UVM. Balancing classes, work, and careful planning, Noah is steadily building the future he envisions—with the support of his family and community.
