Vermont Career Connect

Vermont Career Connect—a virtual career exploration program to help you:

  • think about the future
  • explore new possibilities
  • hear directly from people in a wide variety of careers about their work

Traditionally known as Kingdom Career Connect, in the past this has been a full-day event where students in the NEK came together at Northern Vermont University–Lyndon for hands-on workshops led by local presenters. Due to COVID-19, we’ve moved the 2020 event to a virtual format and have changed the name to reflect that this new format allows us to feature a broader group of presenters and make this program available to students across the state.

Below you’ll find a career interest survey, links to videos organized by career cluster, resources for exploring careers and training requirements, and an activity to help you reflect on what you’ve watched and identify next steps in your career planning journey. Click on each tab to access these materials.

We'll be adding additional career videos on a rolling basis. If there’s a career you’d like to see included below, reach out to Anna at telensky@vsac.org and we’ll do our best to find someone who can speak to it. If you’re a professional who's interested in sharing your career with students, reach out to Anna for ways to participate.

Live virtual event on October 28, 10:00 am–12:00 pm

Join us on for an interactive workshop to:

  • help you match your interests with promising careers
  • directly ask questions of a number of our career presenters
